Over the past few years Psychologies Magazine (France) has licensed lots illustrations from my archive. In this particular issue I was the featured artist, my art graced the cover and 14 interior spreads.
Accordion book play
I love make all sorts of mock ups of book ideas but I rarely just start with a blank accordion book and see what story wants to come out. With this little personal project I had no sketch, just an idea of doing a story about travelers. I highly recommend the method, its freeing and fun to let the art making lead the way.
I’ve been creating artwork for Caring for Colorado Foundation for the past 5 years. My artwork helps promote this philanthropic non profit organization. My illustrations appear on their new website (www.caringforcolorado.com), promotional publications as well as wall decor for their offices. Project director Linda Reiner says, "We keep getting such great feedback! The most common is- Your website is beautiful! The art is amazing!”.
